Denise Helms posted on Facebook about President Obama that he should be assassinated. Oh, and she called him the N-word.
This just doesn’t burn my bacon, it explodes it.
By now some of you have probably heard of airhead Denise Helms who posted this about President Barack Obama:
“Another 4 years of this (N-word). Maybe he will get assassinated this term,” she wrote on Facebook, which has seen been taken down.
The 22-year-old Californian woman has since deactivated her Facebook account and the Secret Service is rightfully looking into the matter.
And while liberals are having a good laugh at Helms saying that Obama should be killed, let’s not forget that their brethren tweeted on Twitter that GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney should get a face full of bullets.
But getting back to Obama, now it’s pretty apparent that Helms doesn’t have enough brain cells to organize her social media skills, much less plan an assassination attempt. But people, we are in the 21st century and while we don’t have our rocket cars yet, let’s at least admit that the 1800’s have come and gone.
By just glancing at my other columns I have criticized the president on a number of things, from the economy to illegal immigration to how Obamacare was created behind closed doors when he promised a public openness.
While most of us may not agree with the president’s policies, we should show him respect as he is our president and the majority of the people voted for him.
Remember folks it’s OK to respect an elected official, but it doesn’t mean you have to be in lock-step of all of his or hers policies.
But this doesn’t mean that many Democrats get to wag their finger in disapproval. There wasn’t a major outcry from them when “fans” of Mia Love, a black Republican mayor of a Utah city, edited her Wikipedia entry and called her a “worthless whore” and a “house n---er.”
And sadly, there are many black Republicans and Tea Party members who have said that Democrats and liberals have called them disgusting and racist names, such as Uncle Toms.
So it’s important that we respect our elected leaders and the democratic process (that means some of you conservatives have to suck it up and deal with it that Mitt Romney lost, but show some grace towards the liberals when it’s their turn to be the cry babies and their person isn’t in the White House.)
But remember this: Some liberals believe that they are truly diverse by smugly saying they re-elected a biracial black man as president, but you also have to keep in mind that they still voted for a white guy too!
