These are the funny, sarcastic rants and frustrations of journalist, political columnist, and blogger, me, Anthony Leone. And I’m also the publisher and editor of this blog. And the purpose of this rant? To unleash righteous fury on the idiotic.
When the world gets a little too asinine, I’m here to say, “Suck it up and deal with it.”
Unlike my other, more mature blog, The Times Observer, What Burns My Bacon takes a more casually stressed shot of the politicians, the politically correct, and the stupid who help make our world go to hell in a hand basket.
And when I’m not frying people for their stupidity, I professionally (yeah, that’s right, I wrote “professionally.” It’s my blog and I need all the attention I can get) write similar-style columns at SodaHead.com.
But a bit more about me. I've been in the newspaper (print and online) and media business for a good number of years now. I've been a reporter, editor (hard to believe I could be in charge of anything), and columnist.
So I'm not some nut just shouting about political stupidity. I'm a professional journalistic nut writing about political stupidity. Yes, there is a difference.
