Obama Administration Isn’t Deporting Illegal Aliens
The Obama administration has decided that deporting illegal immigrants is a political faux pas.
Do you know what burns my bacon? The Obama administration is going after companies who hire illegal immigrants, but it’s not deporting them.
In a New York Times article
New York Times story, it’s reported that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has audited worker files of nearly 3,000 companies.
The Obama administration has replaced immigration raids at factories and farms with a quieter enforcement strategy: sending federal agents to scour companies’ records for illegal immigrant workers.
While the sweeps of the past commonly led to the deportation of such workers, the “silent raids,” as employers call the audits, usually result in the workers being fired, but in many cases they are not deported. …
In another shift, the immigration agency has moved away from bringing criminal charges against immigrant workers who lack legal status but have otherwise clean records, reported The New York Times.
OK, it’s wonderful that companies who hired illegal immigrants are getting their comeuppance, however why is ICE allowing these criminals to walk away? Who is accountable for allowing criminals who came into this country illegal to just walk away, without so much as a swat on the nose with a rolled-up newspaper?
But it’s pretty damn clear as to why ICE and the Obama administration is keeping quiet on these “silent raids” — because they’re letting criminals go!
It makes you wonder what other criminals are accepted by the Obama administration. But this administration is too bloody accepting of all the wrong things. After all, the Justice Department accepts the New Black Panthers’ racism against whites since it dropped a case against them.
We need an investigation as to why this administration and the agencies under it are not deporting illegal immigrants, because there has to be some type of sweetheart deal being made, besides trying to get the Hispanic community’s vote.
And what’s really interesting is how during President Obama’s speech last week regarding immigration reform he never once mentioned these silent raids.
So much for the transparency President Obama promised.
