President Obama seems to be losing his voter appeal, according to a new NBC/WSJ poll.
There’s a reason why old Harry Reid is making a clearer, firmer stand regarding the Ground Zero mosque than President Obama has done — The president’s approval rating is so low who wants to be associated with him, especially if you’re in a tight race to keep your job in Nevada?
According to a new NBC/WSJ poll
new NBC/WSJ poll, President Obama is falling out of favor with many Americans, writes Alex Bratty, a partner at Public Opinion Strategies and a friend of mine.
This month the President’s job performance rating is at 47% approve, 48% disapprove. This is the eighth track in a row that his approval rating is at or below 50% and this is a key measure …
The majority of Americans feel the Obama Administration has fallen short on the major issues of the day: the economy (66% fallen short), reducing government spending (70%), the federal budget deficit (67%), health care (55%).
Now to be fair, the president didn’t exactly inherit a healthy and economically sound nation, however he didn’t exactly help matters any either. How much is that health care reform again?
But here is one of my favorite lines in Bratty’s column:
But, it’s not just these hard political ratings that are having an impact, it’s the apparent tone-deaf ear of this White House that fails to hear or understand what’s important to Americans these days …
Anyone who has been keeping up with the news over the last couple of months, at the very least, can see that’s the most truest thing anyone has ever written since I wrote that it would have been more surprising if the only thing that the FBI had on Ted Kennedy was that he was sober as a preacher instead of allegedly attending sex parties.
But the Obama administration is deaf to the cries of the majority of Americans and that can be seen with three big issues: The majority of Americans did not want health care reform
Rasmussen Reports, they agree with Arizona’s immigration law, and the whole mosque issue, where many thing it should be moved.
If President Obama is going to be playing partisan politics and ignore what the majority of Americans want, then he will not only hurt the chances of his fellow Democrats running for reelection come November, but also his own chances come 2012.
Of course, that would mean that the younger generation would turn off their iPods and stop watching reality TV and start reading and watching the news of course.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 85% of U.S. voters say they are now following news stories about the mosque planned near Ground Zero. Thatâ s a 34-point jump from a month ago when only 51% said they were following the story.
