U.K. Global Warming Ad’s Bloody Violent!

Warning: Some viewers may find this ad to be too violent. A short film called "No Pressure" shows that if people don't agree with reducing carbon emissions, they are blown up in a bloody way. Of course, who ever heard of getting blown up in a clean way?

Do you know what burns my bacon? When environmentalists use scare tactics to scare the ever-living carbon coal out of people to protect the planet!

A U.K. ad trying to push people to reduce their carbon emissions has created quite a bit of controversy. Why? The people in the ad (including two children) who are not willing to reduce their emissions are blown up in such a bloody, violent way that this should be the first ad to come with an R rating.

“The short film, ‘No Pressure,’ which promotes the U.K.’s 10:10 climate change campaign, debuted on the campaign’s website Friday. It depicts a school teacher, a corporate boss and a soccer coach asking their respective students, employees and players to participate in the 10:10 campaign to reduce carbon emissions. Despite being told there is ‘no pressure’ to join the cause, those who say they don’t plan to participate are immediately blown up by their superiors with the push of a button; the others are left standing in awe and covered in bloody remains,” reported FOX News

    .

As you can see by the video (again, it’s pretty violent and some people may not want to watch it) people who are not Al Gore’s Chicken Littles are blown to smithereens.

What a wonderful way to get people to see your point of view when it comes to global warming — by threatening to blow them up. Yes, violent threats are an excellent way of winning the hearts and minds of those who haven’t sipped Gore’s green-flavored Kool-Aid.

Now, it’s pretty obvious that this is an attention-seeking, in-your-face ad that is not really threatening anyone and sure, some people are going to think it looks cool. Heck, I’ll admit, seeing people blown up in a T.V. ad looks pretty cool.

That being said, using such drastic and gory methods is not going to change many people’s minds on whatever topic it is. And hearing the horrific screams of children and adults after watching their friends go KA-BOOM is a bit nerve-racking too.

We should get people to help the environment, but this isn’t the way. There are better ways of showing people that we need to help clean up the planet.

But the underlining meaning is pretty disturbing when you consider they’re blowing up people who don’t follow a strict liberal-militaristic lifestyle.

And this coming from a group of people who preach diversity.
